Zambia/Zimbabwe Fly In Safaris
Both Zimbabwe and Zambia offer great opportunities for fly in safaris. Whilst the road network in Zimbabwe is still in place and reasonably well maintained to get you around the majority of destinations, Zambia is a little different. The majority of game parks in Zambia are spread out, and getting to these destinations is both time consuming and at times, challenging thereby making fly in option a much better option. If you are happy travelling more as an overlander and on the main roads then both options are fine, but if you are restricted to time and your interests lie more in the destination and game park then we recommend you invest a little more and fly to ensure you make the most of the area. Whilst getting to a game park may only take 3-4hours from the starting point, some of the camps are remote and much of the day can be spent simply getting there!
There is a selection of fly in options available, some concentrating on Zambia only, but also with Zimbabwe combination. If you are looking to really appreciate Zambia then remember game viewing and accessibility is best during the dry season and roads and camps can be closed during rainy season.
We have a selection of fly in and land based safaris on offer, some have scheduled safari dates and others are available on a "subject to availability" and when it suits you. Contact us for further information
